MATERIALS: FEATURES & BENEFITS
WHAT IS A SUIT MADE OF AND WHY?
Only the best for SCUBAPRO suits: the best choice of materials for maximum comfort, protection and durability.
• EverFlex: ultra stretch neoprene with enhanced abrasion resistance. EverFlex is used on the inside and outside of the EverFlex line of steamers & jackets for maximum comfort, stretch and durability. Also used in other models in areas needing ‘extra’ stretch, like under-arms, back of knees & calves.
• Multi-flex: four-way-stretch nylon weave that creates comfort and better fit without compromising robustness and durability. It is used in our all-rounder models in the critical areas where added fl exibility is required.
• Plush: used on the interior of our semi-dry suits. Thanks to a sophisticated weave technology it provides a high thermal insulation coefficient coupled with comfort and easy donning.
• Micro-plush: used on the interior of steamers. It is smooth and comfortable against the skin and makes a suit easy to put on and take off. Its superior water absorbency quickly wicks any water away from your body, keeping you warm & dry.
• Silverskin: an ultra-smooth interior fi nish. It consists of a cell finish with “metalite” coating for extra warmth retention: it dries fast and seals extremely well. It is used in the 0.5mm back zip steamer, hood and glove interiors.
• Glideskin: ultra smooth, non-porous neoprene used in double seals, neck seals and some interior panels. Slippery, easy to put on and off and with a great sealing capacity.
• Fairskin: textured skin neoprene, combines excellent fast drying property with anti-tearing resistance. Ideal for critical panels in hi-tech constructions.
• N2S (nylon-2-sided neoprene): nylon laminated on both sides of neoprene foam, the classic material to build all-rounders, rental and tropical water wetsuits.
